Express Track
For time-sensitive manuscripts, Elsevier Rapid Publications offer this optional service for an additional fee. High-quality peer review is completed in 1-2 weeks and comments are provided to the author within 72 hours of their receipt by the editorial office. Authors are asked to submit a revised manuscript within 10-12 days. Accepted manuscripts are processed within 2-3 weeks, published online within 2 business days of final author approval, and in print in the next available issue.
If you would like to use Express Track, please request this service in your cover letter, with your online submission. A completed Express Track Payment form will also be required. We must receive this form before we can proceed with peer review. To cover the cost incurred for expedited review ($2000), you will be charged one fourth ($500) of the fee on receipt of your submission. The $500 initial fee is nonrefundable and noncancelable. If your paper is rejected, there will be no further charges; however, if it is accepted, the remainder of the fee is assessed with a per-page service fee.
